The Wormington Near Vision Card corrects
inaccuracies of the Rosenbaum Vision
Screener noted by Horton and Jones (1997)
and others. For example, the "J" Notation,
which lacked associated standards, was
eliminated. The Wormington Near Vision card
measures a patient’s single optotype near
vision acuity and reading acuity. Card features
Times Roman font and Tumbling Es and
provides a metric scale and pupil size array to
enhance versatility.
