The Lanthony Desaturated Color test is
similar to the Farnsworth D-15, but the 15
disks are desaturated (lighter in hue). This
allows the screener to determine whether or
not the subject has the ability to discriminate
between subtle color variations. The test can
distinguish between normal color perception
and mild deficiency in protan/deutan (redgreen)
or tritan (blue-yellow). The diameter of
the stimulus area is .47" (1.2 cm).
